Builders

Give your robot eyes. Teach it to think for itself.

Ages 12–14 years · 10–40 weeks, depending on pace

The mid track for students ready to level up. Builders add ultrasonic sensing to their build, then program genuine self-driving, obstacle-avoiding behaviour.

Engineers

The flagship build. Full wireless control, full engineering rigor.

Ages 15–18 years · 10–40 weeks, depending on pace

FEP's advanced track. Engineers design and build a wireless RC-controlled robot from the ground up, covering real-world engineering: mechanical design, wireless comms, and full custom firmware.

Explorers

Your first build. Your first line of code. Your first robot.

Ages 6–11 years · 10–40 weeks, depending on pace

The entry point into FEP. Students assemble a programmable robot chassis from scratch, then bring it to life with beginner-friendly code. No experience required.

Robot Arm Workshop

Build a robotic arm. Program precision movement.

Ages 14–18 years · 10 weeks

A standalone workshop outside the 3-track ladder. Students build a multi-axis robotic arm and program it to pick, place, and perform precise multi-step movements.

VELA Engineering Program

Build, fly, and understand the machines that are shaping the future.

Ages 15 and older · 3 levels (Beginner to Advanced)

A hands-on drone engineering curriculum for learners who want to go beyond flying drones and actually understand how they work: the electronics, the firmware, the physics, and the engineering decisions behind every component. VELA stands for Vehicle Engineering, Launch and Application.
